Beaufort County 360
Background
BC360 arose out of the development of a leadership team put together to provide guidance in implementation and monitoring of a Race to the Top grant obtained by a coalition of Beaufort County organizations and agencies. While the initial focus of this group was early childhood education, its mission has broadened to include finding optimal ways to address a number of issues that adversely affect the quality of life in the county. The coalition has also grown its membership to include organizations not part of the initial effort.
